If you only attend one event this winter...

Make it one of our 2019-20 Digital Crop Production Events.

Over the last 12 years, more than 10,000 customers have attended our annual series of winter events. While we've always covered the latest innovations in precision farming, this year I'm thrilled to say that we'll be sharing some of our most varied and forward-thinking content to date.

From November through to February, we're travelling the breadth of the UK to talk all things digital crop production as part of a series of half-day events. As with previous years, we'll be sharing the latest in precision technology including our research, industry developments and the latest updates to our own tools and applications. However, in a first we'll also be sharing the floor with colleagues from Frontier Agriculture and Kings Crops

So, what can you expect?

For those of you who have attended our winter events in the past, you will still benefit from the same in-depth talks from our SOYL experts. Insights this year will include the first public viewing of our recent data science work, an update on all our service and operational enhancements and we'll be sharing upcoming plans for our MySOYL platform as we take a look at future farm innovations.

New for this year though – which we're very excited about – is the collaboration with Kings and Frontier as we discuss the role that digital tools can play across all elements of your farm business.

Frontier's digital experts will talk about MyFarm and how it's suite of applications and unique functions, including MySOYL, complement one another to help you manage every aspect of your farm business. This includes everything from easy online account management through to the ability to monitor grain markets 24-7.

In addition, advisors from Kings will be on hand to talk through the importance of natural capital and how to prepare for future agri-environmental policy. Part of this will include a look at 'precision conservation', as together we explain how satellite imagery and other tools can help you to identify areas of unproductive land that could deliver significant returns when incorporated into stewardship options.

Finally, there will be a presentation around advanced agronomy and crop recording from a local Frontier expert.

How will the events benefit you?

As well as keeping you up to date with the latest services and technology available, every speaker will give clear and actionable 'next steps' at the end of their presentation with a strong focus to help your farm business.

Alongside the information shared by the presenters on the day, there will also be local SOYL, Frontier and Kings experts on hand before, during and after the event to answer questions and share guidance on how to take the innovations forward in your own business.

How do you attend?

Simon Parrington

SOYL is hosting a series of 17 winter training events with parent company, Frontier Agriculture and specialist crop experts, Kings Crops. The events are open to all farmers interested in learning more about the use of digital technology to improve crop production performance and will include valuable insight into MyFarm and its role as a complete farm management platform. There will also be the opportunity to discover more about MySOYL, 'precision conservation' and digital agronomy.
