Kings seals sponsorship agreement

gunsonpegs logo 229x54Kings Game Cover and Conservation Crops has announced a new sponsorship agreement with industry partner, GunsOnPegs (GOP).

Kings is an active member and supporter of the game industry and GOP provides an important service to that community by bringing together those interested in buying and selling shooting days, free of charge. With such common interests, Kings expects that the new agreement will bring benefits for both parties and for their customers and GOP members.

325-1Speaking about the news, Richard Barnes, Sales Manager for Kings, commented: "We're delighted to support GOP through this agreement. At the end of the day all shoots, regardless of location, require good quality habitats within which game and farmland wildlife in general can thrive. That's what we work to support and provide. There is a clear link between our organisations. Indeed presentation of lowland game on a shoot day invariably involves game cover and conservation crops either as blanking, holding or driving cover."

Kings is a leading supplier of management guidance and seed products to farmers and game and conservation managers throughout the UK and Europe.  The business provides technically sound advice to ensure growers achieve the required results from their game cover crops - vital if they are to deliver a successful shoot for their customers.

With the increasing focus on managing costs and ensuring efficiency, successful game cover crops can be of great benefit to the quality, consistency and reliability of shoot planning.  Equally as opportunities through Government funded schemes such as Environmental Stewardship (within England) become more widespread the Kings team is able to guide growers through the options available. This can improve overall habitat and provide a useful income to help offset establishment costs.

Kings has a team of technical advisers, located throughout the UK each of whom has hands on experience and an appreciation of the challenges and pressures faced by game managers.  A combination of extensive in house trials work and a strong relationship with leading organisations such as Natural England and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust ensures that their expertise, advice and products provide customers with the best opportunity to select and establish the correct crops for the required end purpose.
